It depends on the condition, yet in most cases the raised access floor can be reused or refurbished. The raised access floor adopts a modular structure, with each panel independent and supported by adjustable pedestals and stringers without bonding to the ground. If the substrate of old floor panels remains intact without severe deformation or cracking, they can be fully removed with suction cups and reinstalled at new locations. All-steel floor panels feature high strength, deformation resistance and rust-proof performance, making them the most suitable type for repeated disassembly and assembly.

If the surface veneer of floor panels is worn out while the substrate stays sound, refurbishment is a viable option: strip off the old veneer, repair the substrate, and apply a new anti-static veneer. Its performance will be close to brand-new products at a far lower cost than full replacement.

Nevertheless, reuse is not recommended under the following circumstances: severely deformed, cracked or water-soaked floor panels, or powdery deteriorated substrates; pedestals and stringers with extensive rusting and deformation; mismatched sizes between old and new panels, or substandard anti-static performance.

A special reminder: After refurbishment or secondary installation of old floor panels, a continuity test must be carried out to ensure the conductive resistance between panels meets standards and the entire anti-static system remains functional. Do not assume that "it worked before so it will work again". Disassembly and reassembly may damage grounding connections, so retesting is mandatory for safety and reliability.
